The PIXUM Team Adrenalin Motorsport from Heusenstamm has outpaced all other teams in the VLN Endurance Racing Championship Nürburgring and the Rundstrecken-Challenge Nürburgring (RCN) – the two major racing series on the Nordschleife.

After an excellent season, the team secured the championship and runner-up title in the VLN Endurance Racing Championship, along with victory in the drivers’ and team standings of the BMW M235i Racing Cup, which was held within the VLN. Another title was claimed in the RCN: Team manager Matthias Unger achieved overall victory in the Rundstrecken-Challenge Nürburgring, with four class wins.

Six class victories in the VLN and several other strong results in the highly competitive production car class V4 ensured that Christopher Rink, Danny Brink, and Philipp Leisen could celebrate the championship title with the PIXUM BMW 325i E90 (No. 490). In addition to the VLN championship, the trio also secured the production car classification win and the class winner trophy in V4.

Their teammates Norbert Fischer, Daniel Zils, and Christian Konnerth completed the one-two finish in the VLN overall standings by securing the vice championship. The driver trio achieved seven victories in production car class V5 throughout the season with the PIXUM Porsche Cayman (No. 444).

The PIXUM Team Adrenalin Motorsport also celebrated multiple titles in the BMW M235i Racing Cup. Yannick Fübrich and David Griessner (No. 450) clinched the drivers’ championship at the final VLN race of the season, while the team also secured the team championship in the BMW M235i Racing Cup.

With four class wins and several good results over seven RCN races, Matthias Unger personally added another title to his record. Thanks to an outstanding season, Christopher Link led the RCN overall standings and secured the championship title of the Rundstrecken-Challenge Nürburgring.

The team also delivered a first-class performance at the ADAC 24h Race Nürburgring: Alongside a class win with a Porsche Cayman in V5 and several podium finishes in other classes, the team’s strong overall performance was evident elsewhere as well: All entered vehicles completed the full race distance, crossing the finish line at the Nordschleife in the world’s toughest endurance race!

“It is certainly the most successful season in our team’s history and the result of truly hard work. I would like to express my sincere thanks to all team members, drivers, partners, and sponsors who made all this possible and supported us on this journey,” said team manager Matthias Unger, who was already a VLN overall winner in 2008.

“We are particularly pleased with the sporting success of PIXUM Team Adrenalin Motorsport, as we are also proud of the excellent quality of our high-performance engine oils,” says Veedol Sales Manager Dietmar Neubauer. “In the coming season, Veedol will once again be a lubricant partner of PIXUM Team Adrenalin Motorsport.”

Veedol Deutschland GmbH is an official partner of the Nürburgring and the namesake of the Veedol chicane, which was inaugurated in 1984 at the opening of the Grand Prix circuit.
